just like it said it would be, and I got it for a great price. I got the book very fast, its was in great cond.
This book tells you all about it and shows what other people have done, but not enough step by step. I don't think I am creative enough for this book. This may be perfect for other people, but I need more help with the basics of laying it out and how to get to the final result. There is a lot of information about all of the tools, gadgets available for scrapbooking, but not how to start your project and what things to consider when you put it all together. I wanted a book that would give me more hands-on, how-to for putting together my scrapbook. I think that they look so nice when I have seen what other people have done and I was looking for a book that would walk me through it.
It's a wonderful book and wouls really give a beginner a great jump start and a long time scrapper some new ideas. It tells you step by step how to do all kinds of techniques and even gives shopping lists of items you will need for different techniques. I love this book. It has so many things that you can do in scrapbooking.
Definitely a must have for anyone starting out in this craft. It is also well organized with beautiful photos that illustrate the point very well. As a new scrapbooker I was thrilled to find this book. It features many techniques and products that the scrapbooking magazines just assume you should know.
Maybe if you're an experienced scrapper, this book would be basic or simple. It also gives me direction when I can see a layout in my mind but don't know how to put it together on paper. And I've gotten some ideas for layouts, although this is not something I would suggest as a reference for layouts. I just started scrapping, and this was the first book I bought. For those of use who have less knowledge or confidence, this is a wonderful aid. As I've gained experience, I've turned to this book for explanations of different products I've seen. The first time I looked through it, it seemed overwhelming; I had no idea about most of the things it explained. There are so many embellishments and tools that a novice knows nothing about, and this book is wonderful in explaining what they are and how to use them.
